Halo Ring Update #7
Time for an update of the progress on this project. Since the past update I have mostly spent my time with adding some of the glowing parts seen in the ring from Halo Anniversary edition.
All of the glowing paths have detailed start and end points at the time of this update, my next step is to add the other half of path’s that are missing and then get back to detailing again. You can see these start and end points a bit more clearly in the last three renders, the last render I’ve disabled these path’s so you can see the difference they make.
I’ve not done much in terms of modeling or adding any more details to it yet, except the details regarding the glowing path’s. My reasoning behind these is that there must be something connecting them both where they start and where they end, it kind of serves as a dual purpose since a thought I could be there the Sentinals could enter and exit the Rings internal superstructure.
My biggest thing to worry about and that I really need to fix, is that the scale of my ring is way out of what the ring is supposed to be. The diameter is correct but the height and width of it is not. I aim to fix this sometime in the future, decreasing it’s height and width by a big amount to make it confirm with the canon size.
I’ve also been playing around with a short animation for it, hopefully I can have that completed for the next update, nothing major just a fly by sort of animation.
